Condition is fine, factory sealed and never opened. No damage whatsoever.

Saki was a Scottish writer and journalist whose stories depict the Edwardian social scene with flippant wit and power of fantastic invention, used both to satirize social pretension and to create an atmosphere of horror. Saki is considered a master of the short story and is often compared to O. Henry and Dorothy Parker, and was influenced by Oscar Wilde, Lewis Carroll and Rudyard Kipling, while himself influencing A. A. Milne, Noel Coward and P. G. Wodehouse, placing him at the very center of the golden age of English wit and letters. His story ended tragically when he was killed in action on November 14, 1916, during World War I, and has no known grave, leaving behind a body of work whose sharp, darkly comic brilliance has never been surpassed in the short story form.

The Chronicles of Clovis is a collection of thirty extremely wry and witty short stories, with Clovis Sangrail as its nominal central character: young, vain, worldly, slightly cruel and extremely witty.
