Edgar Rice Burroughs created John Carter of Mars in 1912 alongside his creation of Tarzan, and the Barsoom series went on to become one of the most influential science fiction sagas ever written, directly inspiring generations of authors, filmmakers, and scientists including Carl Sagan and Ray Bradbury. The 2012 Disney film adaptation brought the series to a whole new global audience, renewing collector interest in fine editions of the books.

A wonderful addition for collectors of fine leather bound books, Easton Press editions, science fiction, or Edgar Rice Burroughs specifically. Pairs naturally with the Easton Press Tarzan set also available in this collection.
